Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a safe, non-surgical alternative to liposuction. There are no incisions, no scarring, and no down time. The goal of mesotherapy is to get rid of cellulite and rejuvenate the skin. Mesotherapy is commonly injected into the neck, abdomen, arms, thighs and glutes. Mesotherapy can reduce the appearance of belly fat, double chins, love handles, leg and buttock fat, under arm fat (bra bulge), and anywhere else cellulite collects.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a combination of medication, vitamins, and amino acids designed to break down fat cells under the skin and improve blood flow to the treated area. The formulation acts to dissolve the excess fat, destroy cellulite, and boost lymphatic drainage. Most patients have noticeable results after 2 or 3 sessions. The effects of mesotherapy can last for several months or even a year. A healthy diet and exercise routine should be followed for optimal results from mesotherapy treatments. What to Expect
Mesotherapy is done as a series of injections during an office visit. You may receive up to 30 injections per treatment area during a single session, which can last about 20 minutes. Most patients require 7 to 10 treatments per area, depending on how much cellulite and fat you want to lose. In general, only one or two areas should be treated at a time. We will inject the medication wherever you want to blast away cellulite – your chin, upper arms, belly, thighs, etc. Mesotherapy needles are microneedles, not much bigger than an eyelash, so the procedure is virtually painless. After the procedure, there may be slight burning or itchiness for about an hour, and the injection site may be sore for a day or two. Minimal swelling and bruising may occur for up to 7 days. Allergic reactions are rare.
Mesotherapy is not for everyone.
If you have a history of stroke, recent cancer, or blood clots, or if you are pregnant, an insulin-dependent diabetic, or on multiple medications for heart disease, you are not a candidate for mesotherapy.
Vela-Shape III
Vela-Shape III is a FDA-Approved, radio-frequency machine, to aid in cellulite and circumferential reduction with little to no down-time. Vela-Shape combines 4 techniques: infrared light, bipolar radiofrequency energy, massage and gentle suction, to maximize the patients results.
How does it work?
Vela-Shape is able to use gentle suction to bring the target area closer and massage it. This helps stretch the stiff fibrous bands under the skin that cause dimpling and cellulite.
The infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency energy heat the skin resulting in tightening as well shrinking and in some cases killing fat cells.
The heat also aids in stimulating collagen and elastin production resulting in more firmness and elasticity to the area.
What Can I expect?
Depending on the area treated the procedure can last anywhere from 20-40 minutes.
The patient will feel some light suction and heat to the area.
Patients may experience some redness, heat and tenderness to the area.
It is recommended a patient receives 6 treatments, spaced 1 week apart, to the area for maximum results, however, please call us to book a consultation to see how many treatments are best for you!
There is no down time and can be used on all skin types! Patients can resume all normal activities after their appointment.
Exilis
Exilis is the first and only device to simultaneously combine radio frequency and ultrasound to tighten skin and address body concerns. Exilis can be used on relatively any part of the body with little to no downtime!
How does it work?
A small handpiece is guided over the target area with controlled heat by your treatment provider.
This heat disrupts old collagen fibers and initiates the process of new collagen formation. This leads to deep tissue and skin improvement.
What to expect?
Patient will experience some heat and redness to the treated area.
It is suggested each patient to receive 3 treatments to the target area lasting anywhere from 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the area.
It may take anywhere from 3-4 months to see maximum results as it is promoting collagen growth within the tissue.
BodyTone
BodyTone is a unique muscle toning device that uses bio-lectric energy pulses to exercise different muscle groups and prevent muscle atrophy. Through muscle re-education, the BodyTone will strength, sculpt and tone the weak muscles to help regain and rebuild muscle mass.
How does it work?
BodyTone twists, flexes and contracts specific muscle groups to stimulate a heavy workout. It generates approximately 20,000 muscle contractions within 30 minutes.
What to expect?
Patients feel an intense but tolerable contraction sensation in their muscles.
It is recommended that patients sign up for 8 treatments, with 2 treatments per week for 1 month.
There is no downtime after each treatment however, it is normal to have some redness and soreness to the targeted area.
